Sunbathing on the pebble beach, a walk by the lagoon, Sunday picnics en famille, organised hiking excursions. The beautiful beach here at Agios Spiridonas may not be famous, but it has its fans. Top of the list of sights here are the wetlands of the Antinoti Lagoon. If you want to explore, all you have to do is cross the little wooden bridge at the end of the pebbly beach, and you'll disappear into a green jungle.
The abandoned monastery of Agia Aikaterini is just half an hour's walk away. Strong swimmers can even strike out and explore the little islet of Pretsapo, not far off shore. You will meet various groups of hikers, who combine a walk at the lagoon with a swim at Agios Spiridonas beach, or foreign families with their beach umbrellas and picnic baskets.
